Token Economics

GOG is the native token for the Guild of Guardians mobile game and is owned and issued by Guardians Guild Limited. The GOG token is referred to as “Gems” within Guild of Guardians. GOG tokens are ERC-20 tokens issued on Ethereum. All unique blockchain assets (NFTs) in the game, such as heroes and pets, are ERC-721 tokens.

Here’s a list of core token utility for GOG:

  • Governance and voting
  • Minting gaming NFTs
  • Required for primary sales (e.g., heroes and items) – 20% of sale price will be paid in GOG
  • Required for secondary sales – 20% of trading fees will be paid in GOG
  • When GOG is spent in primary and secondary sales, it is seamlessly collected and redistributed back to players via Active Staking rewards

There will be a maximum of 1 billion (1,000,000,000) GOG tokens. A total of 60 million (60,000,000) GOG, or 6% of the total supply, is reserved for the CoinList sale.

Guild of Guardians’ goal is to continue building and growing its community for years ahead. The unlock schedules and circulating supply of GOG is therefore designed to incentivize both long-term growth and sustainability. The circulating supply schedule is illustrated below:
